Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid - Wed-Fri in office, Sat-Sun remote)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team supporting a leading entertainment company’s technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering and maintaining large-scale, mission-critical networks in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a hybrid work schedule with on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate processes, assist in capacity planning, and implement network infrastructure.
- Engineer and deploy scalable, high-performance, and highly available network solutions.
- Generate and maintain quality network documentation including troubleshooting guides, diagrams, and reports.
- Ensure network reliability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Serve as Tier 2/3 network support, providing resolution for complex technical issues.
- Interface with various teams across the organization to support media asset sharing and cross-segment workflows.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., JNCIA, CCNA, CCNP, BIG-IP, PCNSE).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering in a studio, ISP, or enterprise environment.
- Expertise in network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, STP, and VXLAN.
- Proficiency with network hardware (firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers).
- Experience with public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in high-availability network environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in media production environments.
- Knowledge of video streaming technologies and networked storage solutions.
- Scripting and network automation experience.

Additional Details
- Work Schedule: Wed-Fri onsite, Sat-Sun remote.
