Requirements
- Five (5) or more years experience with Cisco Route / Switch engineering, design, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Thorough understanding of DoD (preferably Navy) Cyber security practices and tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline
- Active DoD Secret clearance, ability to upgrade to Top Secret
- Eligible for CSWF IAT II (Security+ Min)
Desired Skills
- Experience with any or all of the following a plus:
- Familiarity with Navy communications facility equipment
- VMware administration and engineering
- Cross Domain Solution engineering, NIPR/SIPR
- Juniper firewalls
- Circuit to Packet (CTP) circuit emulation technology
- Software defined networking technologies (SDN)
- Advanced certifications, such as:
- Cisco: CCNP (preferred), CCNA or similar
- Linux: RHCE, RHCSA, or similar
Description
- Providing engineering and administrative support to a large scale Navy Tactical Network
- Working on the transport team, supporting complex route/switch, circuit, and other networking needs in support of our Network Operation Centers
