Title: Privacy Compliance Analyst (contract)
Location: Burbank, CA
Type: Hybrid (in office Monday-Thursday, remote Friday)
Contract Length: 3 months with possibility to extend
Hourly Pay Rate: $29-31/hour
Our client, a major entertainment brand, is seeking a Privacy Compliance Analyst for a 3-month contract within the company’s Global Legal, Policy, and Compliance Department.
You’ll be responsible for enterprise-wide compliance for both US state-specific as well as global privacy laws. You’ll process data subject rights requests, ensuring they’re recorded and fulfilled timely, provide support for data governance initiatives, and will be expected to understand compliance processes and standards while identifying issues that need to be addressed and communicating those to appropriate parties and documenting resolutions.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) contract position expected to last 3 months with potential to extend further. This is a HYBRID role, based 4 days per week out of the company’s offices in Burbank, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Work with requests from customers to be taken out of database and escalate questions or issues.
- Responsible for implementing the processes and procedures defined by Privacy leadership for data subject request processing and response.
- Attend regular meetings with Privacy leadership to resolve compliance issues as they arise and to support appropriate communications with business and technology clients.
- Implement defined compliance processes and related documentation efforts with minimal supervision.
- Perform routine compliance functions with minimal supervision and escalate issues to Privacy leadership on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience within privacy subject rights compliance, corporate compliance, or guest experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills – particularly within large organizations.
- Proven experience in successfully navigating complex organizations with excellent internal and external partner management skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects in various phases of development and prioritizing diverse workloads daily.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, results driven.
- Experience reading and interpreting complicated documents.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint (both in designing/creating documents, databases, and spreadsheets).
