The Business Systems Administrator is responsible for product set-up and management using resort management/POS/eStore software for all lines of business across Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, Royal Gorge Cross Country, and Sugar Rush Tubing & Snowplay. Products include passes, tickets, rental, retail, lockers, and snow sports school within the RTP|One system and the online eStore, Aspenware. The Business Systems Administrator will also support food and beverage products using InfoGenesis and payment processing across all business units.
The Business Systems Administrator works directly with Accounting and Line of Business Leaders to implement product set-up, as well as to create product documentation. This role considers the full product lifecycle from inception to initial sale/reservation to scanning/fulfillment to financial recognition or refunds. This role is thus critical to both the guest experience and to revenue generation.
This is a 12-month year-round, full-time role and includes additional Guest Services/Tickets or other IT responsibilities depending on the candidate’s experience.

This core role of the Business Systems Administrator requires the following:
- Exceptional systems administration skills
- Extensive, hands on, prior experience setting up products in RTP|One, eStore/Aspenware, F&B POS systems, payment processors/gateways such as Heartland and troubleshooting highly complex issues
- Knowledge of ski resort business functions and offerings including Season Passes, Tickets, Rental and Retail, Ski and Snowboard School, Races and Events, etc. and the ability to train seasonal staff on processes, procedures and use of business systems
- Understanding of dependencies such as online sales/reservations, guest experience/tickets point of sale, fulfillment, RFID scanning, accounting coding for financial revenue recognition and reporting, and returns/refunds
- Collaborative, cross-functional approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, across a broad range of stakeholders
- Strong operational effectiveness and organizational skills
- Additional responsibilities in either Guest Services and Tickets or IT, depending on the candidate’s experience could include the following:
- Prior experience addressing guest inquiries and processing payment transactions as a guest services associate - answering emails, phone calls, or in the ticket window or at the special tickets office; and/or snow sports environments
- Prior experience as an IT Technician in areas such as security, network administration, infrastructure (PCs/printers, ski gates, point of sale, etc.), end-user support, help desk administration, etc.
What you will do
- Documenting the holistic product catalog across the resort and product specific documentation
- Setting up all products in RTP|One, eStore (and supporting F&B with their set up of products in InfoGenesis)
- Ensuring that all products can effectively be purchased online or at a point of sale
- Ensuring that all to-be-scanned products scan effectively
- Ensuring that all products map to accounting codes correctly for financial reporting purposes and supporting the refund process
- Trouble shooting issues with product set up and fulfillment
- Managing the full lifecycle of product creation and management, including inventory management
