In this Senior Systems Administrator position you will make impacts in the following ways;
- Support closed area IS systems (servers and workstations) configurations and ensuring setup and functionality of the Domains, Active Directory, Group Policies, Virtual Environments and Backup Solutions.
- Assisting a team of IT personnel supporting internal customers, designing, implementing and managing lab infrastructure to meet project requirements, manage authentication, file-shares, and other collaboration servers to support groups of heterogeneous client systems.
- Work with the facility security staff to develop and apply hardening steps for said systems.
- This role will require occasional off-hours responses to outages and an individual to take part in subsequent service restoration efforts.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Education
- AS or BS degree in computer related fields
- CompTIA Security+ Certification (must be active)
Technical Abilities Required
- Individuals in this specific title will need to have at least full Secret level clearance, and be eligible for an upgrade to Top Secret, SCI and or SCI/Poly.
- 4 or more years of relevant system administrator experience
- General understanding of Active Directory, able to manage organizational units (OUs), user/service/shared accounts, computer objects in AD along with troubleshooting Domain Controller replication issues, manage trusts between domains and troubleshoot file share permission issues
- Group Policy Management, ability to identify, modify and troubleshoot GPO settings
- Troubleshooting and maintaining DHCP, DNS and Network Card IP settings
- General knowledge of Backup Exec and VEEAM backup applications
- General understanding of NETAPP systems (NAS storage), configuring aggregates, volumes and shares
- Knowledge of security patching tools (WSUS) and/or script-based Microsoft patching techniques
- Ability to manage Trellix (McAfee) ePolicy Orchestrator server with deployments of Agents, Endpoint Security, Data Loss Protection and Drive Encryption tools
- Ability to manage VMWare ESXi VM Servers; standing up new VMs, running and maintaining existing VMs along with troubleshooting ESXi configuration issues
- General administration knowledge of MS Exchange (email) and Skype (IM) servers
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred:
- Top Secret Clearance or TS/SCI/Poly
- VMware and ESXi systems experience; upgrades, VM imports and migrations
- Windows Server upgrading and troubleshooting
- SQL database troubleshooting and maintenance
- Some LINUX run and maintain skills with AD interactivity
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
