Zipdrug is a venture-backed healthcare technology company revolutionizing the pharmacy experience for health plans and their members. Zipdrug’s proprietary technology leverages delivery to narrow pharmacy networks, better aligning payers, patients and pharmacies resulting in reduced costs, improved medication adherence, and higher-quality member experiences. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to bring their experience to the Zipdrug team. We are looking for a person who can develop excellent products, contribute to the technical design of our current and future platform, supply experience and guidance to our engineering team and work with both internal customers as well as our product teams. * Serve as the lead engineer for current and new projects. * Mentor and work with the engineering team to resolve questions and issues as well as ensure code quality * Work with the Engineering Manager and team to create and update team processes and procedures. * Perform Code reviews with the team * Serve as the liaison with the Product teams to ensure engineering input is taken into account when new features / functions are added to a product’s roadmap. * Work with management to create budgets and schedules * Conduct various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects * Spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes * Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors * Prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally Are you a good fit?: * 4+ years working as a Software engineer * Experience using: * AWS * Node.js * React * Python * SQL * Databases such as Postgres * Docker * Experience with Salesforce.com development a plus * Thorough knowledge of networks, cloud computing and portal design * Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g. HIPAA) * Leadership and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple projects * Outstanding communication skills * Problem-solving aptitude What you’ll get: * Casual dress code * Lunch and learns from the co-founders and leaders of the company Happy hours, group workouts, free meditation * Healthcare, dental, vision benefits * Unlimited snacks & beverages * State of the art facility in Jersey City with waterfront views
