In this role you will be primarily responsible for developing performant, well tested, and easy to maintain python code. We are a small company, so a willingness to wear many hats and a "can do" attitude is required. We are looking for engineers that aren't afraid to tackle new problems or own things they've never tried before. Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Expect opportunities to interact directly with customers, lead the development of components, perform code reviews, enhance the build system, automate testing, and interact with other parts of the business. Experience with any of the following technologies is beneficial: * One or more public cloud APIs (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc) * Cloud-based task management systems, message queues, and/or serverless computing * Common cloud security best practices * Python 3.x * Source control tools such as git or bitbucket * Unit testing – including mocking and patching * Docker containers * Creating and maintaining PyPI packages * Documenting code with docstrings * Existing DevOps tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, or SaltStack If you are self-motivated, enjoy the dynamics of a startup company, always find yourself at the center of development projects, and believe that untested code is broken code - we would like to speak with you!
