Daddy’s Chicken Shack was founded in 2018 and began franchising in 2021. Daddy’s Chicken Shack is franchised by Area 15 Ventures, a private equity investment business, who bring vast experience in executive leadership, business development, marketing, franchise sales, Zee/Zor relationships, training and national expansion. DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY As Director of IT, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of technology for our QSR restaurant concept, including oversight of Daddy’s Chicken Shack Corporate technology infrastructure and assets as well as our Franchisee QSR concepts. Our Director of IT will collaborate with all other functional teams including operations, sales, finance, marketing and HR to ensure seamless operations and efficiencies with all tech solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop and implement technology strategies that support Daddy’s Chicken Shack objectives and drive operational efficiency in the restaurant environment. * Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networking systems in Company-owned restaurants. * Ensure data security and integrity by implementing and maintaining robust backup systems, firewalls, and cybersecurity protocols. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements. * Manage and account for all technology assets. * Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact and benefits to the company. * Conduct regular technology audits to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements. * Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Corporate and restaurant staff, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. * Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and training materials, to support technology systems and processes. * Manage tech vendors and maintain website. * Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, proactively recommending technology advancements and innovations to optimize restaurant operations. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco) are a plus. * Proven experience as an Information Technology Director or similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. * Familiarity with POS systems, online ordering platforms, and other restaurant-specific technologies. * Strong knowledge of networking concepts, hardware systems, software applications, and cybersecurity protocols. * Proficiency in system administration, network configuration, and troubleshooting. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues. * Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and provide technical support to non-technical staff. * Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. * A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to understand and address technology needs from both a business and operational perspective. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, vendors, and agencies. * Participate in restaurant Discovery Days and training in marketing and brand standards. * Travel required. SALARY RANGE: $100k - $125k
