Description

The Information Security Specialist is the main resource for Cyber security activities for OCHA/OMH. This position ensures the security, protection of, accountability for and access to, computer systems, data and mobile computing resources. This position develops and implements information security policies and procedures. The Information Security Specialist reports directly to The Director, Information Technology Services Infrastructure. The Information Security Specialist supplements the PC Technicians as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

Baccalaureate degree in computer science or related field preferred; coursework in computer science desirable. 6 years of related work experience may be substituted for educational requirement.

Experience:

3- 5 years’ work experience in the computer industry with knowledge of systems security, NIST Standards, HIPAA Security Rule, MDM environments and active directory.
