The Role

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for the stability, security, and governance of LifeShare’s Azure-based cloud infrastructure. Your role will involve designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud solutions while mentoring IT staff and collaborating across teams to enhance efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Deploy: Architect and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions in Azure.
Security & Compliance: Maintain a cybersecurity-first approach, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and Azure best practices.
Automation & Optimization: Streamline processes through Azure CLI, PowerShell, IoC, and CI/CD pipelines.
Infrastructure Management: Oversee Azure networking, storage, databases, Encarta, and Application Scaling.
Performance Monitoring: Utilize logging, monitoring, and automation to enhance system performance in hybrid environment.
Cost Efficiency: Analyze Azure billing and introduce cost-saving strategies.
Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with IT teams, providing guidance and technical leadership.

Qualifications

What You Bring

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
8+ years in IT roles with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure.
5+ years managing a production Azure environment at a mid-market enterprise or larger.

Certifications & Skills:

Active Microsoft L2+ Certification (MCSA/Associate) in a relevant area.
AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect) and AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) required.
Bonus: AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer), AZ-500 (Security Technologies).
Extra Bonus: AWS experience
Expertise in Azure networking, security, storage, databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Databricks).
Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and git.
Working knowledge of SOC compliance, disaster recovery, and forensic investigations.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Work Environment & Benefits

Oklahoma City-based role with in-office attendance required for the first 90 days.
Some evenings/weekends may be required for projects or urgent tasks.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
