Network Administrator

Halff has an immediate opening for a Network Administrator on our Infrastructure Team.

Responsibilities:

Must have the ability to deploy and troubleshoot enterprise-wide servers and solutions.
Respond to and resolve emergency issues escalated from Tier 1 Support
Build and rack servers and subsystems.
Must have excellent communication skills to troubleshoot and diagnose server/network/voice issues.
Must have reliable transportation for travel to remote locations to deploy workstations, servers, and/or networking systems.
Participate in on-call rotation
Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Desired Skills:

Basic programming/scripting skills for PowerShell, Python, other command line
Administering Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Distributed File System (DFS), or Internet Information Services (IIS) are all considered a plus.
VM Hypervisor experience is considered a plus (VMware, Hyper-V, AHV, Xen)
Experience with distributed global file systems (e.g. Nasuni, Panzura, Egnyte, etc)
Linux administration (CentOS, Rocky, Debian, etc); Manage a ceph FS cluster

Required Experience:

Experience with TCP/IP, Routing, Subnetting, Cabling, Troubleshooting
Experience with network operating systems, Cisco Catalyst or Aruba preferred.
Experience with Fortinet Firewalls and VPN

Desired Experience:

2-5 years of experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, including administering Active Directory Users and Computers, Sites, Trusts, and Group Policy
Industry Recognized Certifications preferred (MCSE, CCNA, RHCSA, etc)
Three or more years of IT infrastructure experience in a medium sized enterprise
FortiManager, Nutanix, Citrix Administration experience
