Summary:

The Cloud Architect is responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for organizations. They analyze business needs and recommend innovative cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop cloud-based solutions that align with organizational needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based services with existing infrastructures
Evaluate cloud infrastructure technology trends, tools, and frameworks to ensure optimal system performance, security, and scalability
Develop and implement cloud security policies, controls, and regulatory compliance guidelines
Mentor and guide IT teams on cloud architecture and best practices
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to cloud-based services, infrastructure, and solutions
Continuously monitor cloud solutions' performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement
Work collaboratively with vendor partners to ensure that contractual obligations are met and service level agreements are achieved

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
7+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions
Cloud Certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Deep understanding of cloud-based architectures, technologies, tools, and techniques
Strong knowledge of networking concepts, virtualization, and storage technologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendor partners
Exceptional project management and documentation skills
