Cross Country Education is seeking Experienced Sign Language Interpreters in Manhattan Beach, CA. We are looking for Sign Language Interpreters to Interpret oral communication into sign language and signed communication into spoken English. Convey the content of the message clearly and accurately according to the receptive language level of the student. Provide voice to sign and sign to voice interpreting and other support services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students/staff in a variety of settings to facilitate communications between students, faculty, staff, parents and others; confer with students, teachers and administrators concerning instructional functions, interpretation services, educational progress and related issues, needs and activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

HS Diploma or Higher Education
Certification by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment, the Educational Sign Sills Evaluation-Interpreter and Receptive, the National Association of the Deaf, American Consortium of Certified Interpreters or equivalent, with a score of 4.0 or above.
Must have EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) Certification score of 4.0 or higher or be nationally certified through RID or equivalent
Previous Sign Language Interpretation experience
