Description

The IT Services Administrator 2 role is primarily responsible for the cloud services used by Summit States Agency Group and secondarily Farmers Union Insurance. The role will provide first line response to issues arising from these services as well as configuring and managing those services. Additional responsibilities will include collaborating with the IT Manager and various departments to improve workflows through additional technical services, assisting in various projects as assigned, and providing depth to the IT services team.

Responsibilities

Administrator for the Summit States Microsoft365 users and agents.
Technical services support lead for Summit States users and agents. This includes setting up user endpoints, installing various software packages, and responding to helpdesk issues.
Installing, maintaining, and monitoring security software for phones and endpoints.
Providing backup support to the Farmers Union Insurance cloud services environment and helpdesk issues.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience working in a user support and/or endpoint management role.
1-3 years of Microsoft365 administrator experience, including Entra, Intune, Sharepoint, and Teams.
Demonstrated ability to think critically to understand current workflow challenges and creatively to research, engineer, and deploy technical solutions in response to those challenges.
1-3 years of experience working with software security tools such as Microsoft Defender, Acronis, or any other cloud-based security software.
3-5 years of experience working in a customer facing environment and demonstrated customer service skills.
1-3 years of experience working with a ticket management system.
Ability and willingness to take on and learn new skills and systems.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

(Preferred) Industry standard certifications including but not limited to: Network+, Security+, any Microsoft365 certifications.
(Preferred) 4-year degree in a technical related field such as computer science OR a field requiring significant critical and creative thinking (e.g. English, History).
(Preferred) Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industries.
