Electrical Engineer

Our Dallas office is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with 5 to 9 years of consulting engineering experience. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of electrical system design and a track record of producing construction documents from project initiation to finalization. You should feel confident consulting with architects, property owners, and general contractors while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers. Qualifications:

B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
5 to 9 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
PE license in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 4 years of experience with a multidisciplinary engineering or consulting firm
Experience with federal, commercial, or industrial project design
Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with telecommunications, security, AV, or cybersecurity design (preferred)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and electronic drawing software (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Design electrical systems and specifications for a wide range of building types
Develop comprehensive scopes of work for electrical designs
Conduct peer reviews for electrical discipline
Contribute to business development and marketing efforts when needed
Lead interdisciplinary projects and teams
Collaborate with clients and AHJs throughout the design phases
