Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.
- Provide visionary leadership and direction to the IT Infrastructure team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage systems, and data centers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Drive the adoption and management of cloud technologies, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises infrastructure.
Security and Compliance
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company’s IT infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards relevant to the business.
- Provide requested information and participate in security assessments when needed during internal and external audits.
Helpdesk and Support Services
- Lead the IT Helpdesk team to provide efficient and effective technical support to all employees.
- Develop and implement helpdesk policies and procedures to improve response times and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze helpdesk performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the efficiency and reliability of IT infrastructure.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize infrastructure performance, identifying cost savings and efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure management, including capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Vendor and Budget Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
- Evaluate and select new technologies and vendors that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the IT Infrastructure team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Promote professional development and continuous learning within the team, ensuring they stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Set departmental goals for the individual teams and provide ways to measure and motivate employees to meet those goals.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of top talent within the IT Infrastructure team.
Innovation and Future Planning:
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and practices that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
- Develop and maintain a forward-looking infrastructure roadmap that supports the company’s growth and strategic initiatives.
