We are looking for a HUB Warehouse Manager to join our La Porte, TX location. You will join a company:

The General Manager position has the responsibility for leadership of all teams responsible for material movement into, out of and within the Logistics HUB. This role is critical to ensuring proper service and controlling costs. Aligning internal and external customer needs with P&L budgets focus on the needs, goal and KPIs of the business strategy.
 

¿Cuáles serían tus funciones?

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 

•    Load flatbed or container 
•    Move product within warehouse by using forklift and overhead crane
•    Responsible for quality control by reviewing all outgoing product for damage and accuracy
•    Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
•    Operate forklift, trucks, and cranes
•    Manage all customer conflict that arises from various problems that may occur when shipping material, (i.e. broken slabs, wrong order, etc.)
•    Lead and supervise a diverse team of non-exempt warehouse associates
•    Reward and recognize performance and execute on progressive discipline, as needed- Mentor, train and develop teammates for career progression and learning
•    Responsible for administering operational activities in warehouse related to shipping material, organization & inventory management, supervising warehouse employees and ensuring & implementing of all appropriate safety regulations (OSHA). 
•    Assist with customer deliveries when needed.
•    Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE

Desired:
•    2 years of managing warehouse experience in a  Distribution HUB (5 + Preferred)
•    2 years of experience using SAP or similar ERP 
•    Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

EDUCATION
Required: 
•    High School Diploma
Desired: 
•    Bachelor’s Degree 

KNOWLEDGES
Desired: 
•    Problem solving and root cause analysis
•    OHSA Requirements
