Job Overview

As a valued member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in reviewing, assessing, monitoring, and reporting on risk management and controls within the SFO organization.
Ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls.
Collaborate with the various departments to address all aspects of in-business risks and controls, contributing to a culture of security and compliance.
Assists business partners with the design and implementation of controls, policies, and procedures to increase effectiveness and efficiency related to the respective functional area.
Make decisions in complex situations requiring solid understanding of risk management framework and the risk and control environment that influence and lead to meeting reporting deliverables and drive new initiatives.
Provide prioritization recommendations to leadership for control implementation based on inherent and residual risk evaluations.
Assist with conducting thorough RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessments) control testing to ensure the operational effectiveness of controls, identifying areas for improvement and enhancement.
Facilitate the identification of gaps and drive solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors.
Investigates and assists in root cause analysis in instances of actual or potential operational loss.
Assist in the coordination of risk and control-related information for audits and external reviews, ensuring a seamless and transparent process.
Maintain diligent tracking and reporting on the status of self-identified issues and remediation plans, helping us to continuously strengthen our risk mitigation strategies.

What you'll do:

3+ years of Finance, Treasury Operations, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting, Business Audit, or Technology Audit experience.
A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field in information technology.
A strong understanding of financial services and business process risk and control practices.
